How Does Spiritual Birth Take Place?

By A Decision of God    (John 1:13)
13  They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.

By A Decision of Jesus, The Son of God   (John 5:21)
21  For just as the Father gives life to those he raises from the dead, so the Son gives life to anyone he wants.

By An Act of God Through Christ   (Colossians 2:13)
13  You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins.

By The Holy Spirit   (John 3:6 and Titus 3:5)
John 3:6
6    Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life.
Titus 3:5
5    he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.

Through The Word of God  (James 1:18 and I Peter 1:23)
James 1:18
18  He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession.
