This is from two of my favorite Pastors:
God is not under any obligation to bless anything you come up with (your plans) but He is obligated to bless His plans for your life (His promises).
Proverbs 16:1
We may make our plans, but God has the last word.
Proverb 16:9
You may make your plans, but God directs your actions.
