God Provides Protection

The Full Armor of God  (Ephesians 6:11,13)
11  Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.
13   Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes,  you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

The Armor of Light  (Romans 13:12)
12  The night is nearly over; the day is almost here.  So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

God as Our Shield  (Genesis 15:1, Deuteronomy 33:29 and Psalms 115:9-11)
Genesis 15:1
1    After this, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision:  "Do not be afraid, Abram.  I am your shield,  your very great reward.
Deuteronomy 33:29
29   Blessed are you, O Israel!  Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord?  He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword.  Your enemies will cower before you, and you will trample down their high places.
Psalms 115:9-11
9    O house of Israel, trust in the Lord--he is their help and shield.
10  O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord--he is their help and shield.
11  You who fear him, trust in the Lord--he is their help and shield.

The Shield of Faith  (Ephesians 6:16)
16   In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

The Belt of Righteousness  (Isaiah 11:5)
5    Righteousness will be his belt and faithfulness the sash around his waist.

The Belt of Truth  (Ephesians 6:16)

The Breastplate of Righteousness  (Isaiah 59:17 and Ephesians 6:14)

The Breastplate of Faith and Love  (I Thessalonians 5:8)
8    But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.

The Willingness to Run and Spread the Good News  (Isaiah 52:7 and Ephesian 6:15)

7  How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!"

The Helmet of Salvation  (Ephesians 6:17 and I Thessalonians 5:8)

The Word of God which is the Sword of the Spirit  (Ephesians 6:17 and Hebrews 4:12)
